Supply Chain Consultants are responsible for managing projects, which includes the analysis of operations and delivering solutions that meet the sold objectives. Tasks include evaluating warehousing, transportation, or operational environment, recommending detailed value-added solutions, implementing proven solutions, maintaining solid communication with client, and completing all projects successfully while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- At least 2-5 years industry experience Solid Warehousing, Distribution, Supply Chain Execution, and Manufacturing business processes understanding ERP, WMS, & TMS application experience 2-3 years experience with some or all of the following:
- Implementation of Windows based warehouse management system (WMS) Implementation of iSeries (AS/400) based warehouse management systems (WMS) Implementation of transportation planning or execution systems
- Implementation of labor management solutions
- Technical (programming) skills are a plus
- Industrial Engineer qualifications or certifications are a plus
Work with one or more of the following software packages is a plus:
- HighJump Architect, Webwise, and related HighJump applications Manhattan WM for iSeries (formerly PkMS on the AS/400 platform) or Windows Logistics Pro (LogPRO) for Warehousing or Traffic SSA EXE SSA Warehouse BOSS SSA CAPS Logistics SSA Arzoon LIFE RedPrairie WMS SAP
- Oracle Applications

- Have good communication (written & oral) skills Be willing to travel frequently

- Work well in team environment
- Have a good work ethic
Candidate may be able to live and work out of their home anywhere within the USA accessible to an airport and with high speed Internet access.Consultants begin their career with hands-on training. Our consultants are provided with technical skills along with proven business skills to become effective contributors to our projects. After training, consultants are assigned to projects where they are responsible for working with clients to determine and implement the best solutions according to their needs.These individuals report to project leaders and need to work well in a team environment. The ability to communicate (verbally and written) and interact with all levels of personnel is an important function of the job. This position may require upwards of 75% travel throughout the U.S with possibilities for international travel.We seek highly motivated, teachable individuals who adapt easily to change, and are not afraid to try something new.
